Course program
Students should be able to apply the acquired knowledge to set up a research plan and address issues related to: - formulation of hypotheses; - validity and reliability; - sampling; - encoding and tabulation of data; - data processing; - interpretation and presentation of results.
Prerequisites
Logical and epistemological principles of sociological methodology are indispensable.

Teaching mode
In addition to frontal teaching, classroom exercises and self-employment projects are to be carried out individually and / or in groups in order to apply the acquired knowledge. The training also provide for the use of data analysys programs.
Attending students will carry out educational exercises and exemptions to monitor levels of preparation.
Frequency
Attendance not mandatory but strongly recommended.
Exam mode
Written test consisting of multiple choice questions and two open questions.
The oral exam is provided exclusively at the request of the teacher to resolve doubts
