Sciences and techniques of social work

Aims of this course are: 1. to provide basic knowledge on the main factors capable of determining the health profile of a population; to emphasize the importance of prevention in all its levels; to analyze the concept of epidemiological transition of the population and the effects of the latter on a social, economic and health level; to analyze the transition to care, the territorial organization of welfare services and their criticalities. 2. to contribute to the building of professional and managerial abilities required to manage, care and take charge of specific health problems of the person.
